Commissioned provision
At risk of exclusion
Intervention before it reaches a crisis point.

- Commissioned by schools
- Early intervention for pupils at significant risk of permanent exclusion.
- Within 10 working days
- Provision typically confirmed in writing, with timetable, tutor details and SLA.
- A clear pathway
- Regular review towards reintegration, a managed move, or longer-term provision.
What we provide
Not every referral to Fylde AP follows an exclusion. Schools commission us to work with pupils who are struggling in the mainstream environment, where behaviour, attendance, or engagement have reached a point where exclusion is a real risk without intervention.
- Part-time placements running alongside school attendance
- A calmer, lower-pressure learning environment that reduces flashpoints
- Structured, relationship-based sessions that rebuild a pupil’s confidence in education
- An individual support and de-escalation plan for every pupil, delivered by Team Teach-trained staff skilled in de-escalation and, only where necessary, safe physical intervention
- Close liaison with the commissioning school, SENCo, and pastoral team
- Regular review and a clear pathway, whether that is reintegration, a managed move, or longer-term AP
Who this is for
Pupils referred by schools who are at significant risk of permanent exclusion, or who need additional support beyond what their current setting can provide. We work with schools at any point, and early intervention is always better.
Exclusion is rarely the only option. Commission us early and we will work with you to keep a pupil in education.
Let’s work together
Ready to refer? We make it simple.
You’ll speak to someone who knows the business, and who will know your pupil.
